Cylindrical Roller bearings are available in a variety of designs including double row (NN) and single row (N). Cylindrical Rollers with a cage can accommodate heavy radial loads, rapid accelerations and high speeds, whereas full complement bearings incorporate a maximum number of rollers for use with very heavy radial loads but moderate speeds.
Single row cylindrical roller bearings are separable, so the bearings ring with the roller and cage assembly can be separated completely form the outer ring, this can simplify mounting and dismounting the bearing. When combined with Precision Angular Contact Thrust bearings, the Cylindrical Roller bearings meet high rigidity requirements of many machine tool spindle applications.
